My usual starting time on your Lincoln is
10:00am; and eight to ten hours later, I have completely
gone thru the convertible top and power window systems;
including the 'auto-retract' window function
You are invited to help, watch and
learn the complexity of your Lincoln: It's 'school' for
Lincoln Owners - When all these systems
work properly, the value of your car increases by $ 4,500.00 !
The average invoice for on-site work is
$2,500.00 - some are lower, a lot are higher for
complete 'go-thru'... plan accordingly, and have plenty of
cash $ on hand, come payment time...
My Requirements
:
My Suburban Service Truck must be parked in
close proximity to the Lincoln I am servicing: I go in and out
of the truck a 100 times in the course of a repair job.
If I have to walk more than a few feet, it wastes valuable
time.
If I am working in a garage, there must be
plenty of room to maneuver around the vehicle: doors must open
fully, with clearance for full top operation. Please move all
toys & junk out of the way prior to work appointment.
In case of inclement weather, I must
have garage/ shelter (or we reschedule) If temperature
exceeds 85* I cannot work outdoors in direct sun. (under
shade tree is acceptable)
Rarely do I work on a car where the
back seat does not require removal to access relays etc...it
is helpful if YOU the customer remove the back seat prior to
my arrival on the job & have a trash can handy, as this also saves valuable time.
Most importantly, plan ahead and have CASH payment ready come payment
time (completion of repair)!
